Common questions
How do I delete my account?
From any screen in the app, tap the menu button in the top left to open Settings, then choose Delete Account. You will be asked to type your username to confirm, so it cannot happen by a mistaken tap. It is reachable from anywhere in the app rather than buried in a submenu, and you do not need to email us or ask permission.
Deleting is immediate and permanent: it removes your profile, your logged rounds, your ratings, your round photos, your avatar, your follows, and your blocks, and we cannot undo it afterwards. Two things stay — abuse reports, and any course photos you uploaded as a course curator. The Privacy Policy explains why.
How do I hide my home state?
There is a “Show home state on profile” toggle in the app’s privacy settings. Turning it off removes your state from what other people see on your profile; it does not delete it, so you can turn it back on later. Bagged has no home course field, so there is nothing to hide there.
A course is missing, closed, or has the wrong name
Send us the course name and state and we will fix the record. Our course data is compiled from public sources and it does go stale — courses close, get renamed, and change hands. Corrections from people who have actually played there are the best data we get.
I forgot my password
Use the reset link on the sign-in screen and we will email you a link. We store passwords only as hashes, so we genuinely cannot look yours up or tell you what it was — resetting is the only route.
I used Sign in with Apple and hid my email
That works fine. We only ever see Apple’s private relay address, and anything we send you goes through it. If you later turn off email forwarding for Bagged in your Apple ID settings, our emails will stop reaching you — including password and account notices — so it is worth leaving on.
How do I remove one round or one photo?
Open the round in your bag and delete it there, or remove just the photo and keep the round. You do not have to delete your whole account to take one thing back.
Is Bagged free? Is there an Android version?
Bagged is free, and it is iPhone-only today. Browsing courses on this site does not need an account at all.
I have a privacy request
Email us and say so. You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. The Privacy Policy sets out what those rights are and how we handle them.
